Housing Element Letter

We need your help: On Monday, San Francisco's housing element—a plan to build 82,000 homes by 2031—goes to the Land Use and Transportation Committee of the Board of Supervisors. The housing element is an ambitious plan to create enough housing to meet the future needs of San Francisco, fix our housing crisis, and address racial and economic segregation. Send an email now and ask the city to act swiftly to enact the programs and policies in the housing element. If you are free Monday afternoon to give public comment, please call in using the contact info for the hearings or attend City Hall in person. This may be the last hearing with public comment before this plan is adopted—make your voice heard! Follow @_fruchtose, @SFYimby, and @TheFrisc on Twitter for live updates on when the Housing Element is heard and when public comment opens.
