John, today marks the 50th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. While we should be celebrating 50 years of progress for reproductive rights and abortion access, we’re not. Instead, we’re fired up and ready to fight like hell.

Last summer, a group of right-wing extremist judges on our nation’s highest court — a court that was designed to protect the freedoms of ALL Americans — decided that they should have control over who receives reproductive healthcare and who doesn’t and overturned Roe v. Wade.
But they’re not the only ones to blame, John. The Senate had FIFTY YEARS to codify Roe, and they simply didn’t.
You know just as well as we do that the ONLY WAY to right this wrong is to elect more Black progressive champions who will fight tooth and nail for guaranteed access to safe and legal abortions and to codify Roe v.
