John — Today marks 50 years since the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade, which gave women the right to decide what happens to their own bodies.

Today should have been a celebration. But now with Roe gone, it’s more dire than ever we stand up and fight for women’s access to reproductive care.

In 2022, Americans rejected Republican extremism and defeated some of the most extreme anti-choice candidates, including:

1. Herschel Walker, who supported a nationwide ban on abortion with no exceptions
2. Mehmet Oz, who said “local political leaders” should have final say in women’s healthcare decisions
3. Adam Laxalt, who worked to limit access to birth control

But the GOP isn’t giving up their fight to restrict abortion rights even further. Next year, we’ll need to beat every single one of the Republican candidates — along with working to defeat prominent Trump’s anti-choice Senators like Rick Scott and Ted Cruz.
