Today we should be celebrating Roe vs Wade’s 50th Anniversary, guaranteeing the right to privacy and the right to an abortion.

Instead, the GOP-packed Supreme Court overturned the established law, and state governments throughout the nation have passed draconic laws banning abortions.

In Virginia, Democrats in the State Senate have held firm to protect women’s reproductive rights, but the GOP is dreaming about banning abortion in the Commonwealth.
