It’s been 50 years since the landmark decision in Roe v. Wade. But on a day that should be spent celebrating a monumental decision in the fight for women’s rights, this year is different – it marks the first year since the ruling was overturned by the Supreme Court.

We continue to see states around the country attempt to ban abortion after the Supreme Court’s decision. Here in Virginia, Republicans are trying to ban abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
