Friends, I’m reaching out to you today on the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Today, abortion access in America is in crisis. It’s been six months since the Supreme Court stripped us of our fundamental right to make our own health care decisions, and the consequences have been disastrous.

As a pro-choice champion, I helped pass the strongest reproductive rights law in the country so that abortion is protected in Oregon and is still legal today. I will always fight to protect abortion rights and push back against efforts to put these decisions in the hands of the government.

But let me be clear: Republicans had been working towards this reality for a long time. The only way we can ensure our reproductive rights are protected is by taking back the House Majority and taking the Speaker’s gavel from Kevin McCarthy.
