Team: It’s been 50 years since the landmark decision of Roe v. Wade, which protected the right to reproductive freedom in this country.
It has only been six months since Trump-appointed Supreme Court Justices granted extremist Republicans’ wish to overturn Roe — and already, we face a harsh reality.
Today, my thoughts are with all of the women who have struggled and suffered as a result of this catastrophic decision. The past six months have shown that Republicans will stop at nothing to fulfill their dangerous agenda — and it’s up to us to stop them.
We need to retake the House majority and codify Roe, and to do that, we need to keep pro-choice Democrats like me in Congress. So please, will you pitch in any amount to help me continue fighting for reproductive rights?
