Today would have marked the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade’s protection of safe and legal abortion. But the conservative-majority Court struck down the ruling, stripping millions of Americans of their bodily autonomy and robbing them of critical – and sometimes lifesaving – health care.

Their hugely unpopular and controversial decision succeeded at three things: undermining public confidence in our institutions, throwing our nation into CHAOS, and leaving the health care of millions in the hands of anti-abortion Republicans across the nation!

But that hasn’t stopped Democrats from fighting back.

Democratic governors are fighting to protect our freedoms, veto abortion bans, and codify life-saving health care into law in states across the country. And in every single state with an abortion referendum on the ballot, voters have chosen to uphold abortion rights. We can’t stop fighting now. So, on what would have been the 50th anniversary of Roe, we’re asking reliable supporters like you to take action.
