Today would have marked the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. But the legal right to abortion guaranteed by Roe was not enough to ensure real access for millions of people, especially those who already face disproportionate barriers to care. This abortion access crisis has only escalated the past seven months as more and more people are denied care, criminalized, and stigmatized.
