50 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was fully legal in the landmark case Roe v. Wade.

But now in 2023, on the 50th anniversary of one of the most important cases in history, abortions are outlawed in several states – leaving millions with zero control over their own bodies.

Republicans didn’t hesitate to pass strict abortion bans after the Supreme Court overturned Roe last June. They’ve even gone so far as to threaten a nationwide abortion ban.

It’s been almost seven months since the reversal of Roe, and we’re still living in the past.

It won’t be easy to restore our rights with Republicans hellbent on destroying them, but it starts with all of us coming together to support pro-choice Democrats up and down the ballot.

Because we need representatives who believe abortion is a fundamental human right, and will defeat anti-choice Republicans at the ballot box.
