Hi gang --

I’ve spent a lot of my life doing things people told me I couldn’t or shouldn’t -- joining the Air Force, becoming a pilot, taking on the Pentagon to open ground combat roles for women, and yes, running for Senate. Oftentimes, they didn’t think I could or should because I’m a woman. But I did what I believed in anyway -- and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished.

Today, I’m proud to stand with three strong women running bold campaigns for Senate: Sara Gideon in Maine, Amy McGrath in Kentucky, and Theresa Greenfield in Iowa.

Each of these women is running to build a better future for our children. I know they care as much as I do about lowering prescription drug prices, preserving protections for people with preexisting conditions, and ending the gun violence epidemic.

But we won’t accomplish any of these things without electing these strong, smart, and principled women in Maine, Kentucky, and Iowa -- and defeating Sen. Cornyn here in Texas.

Mitch McConnell won’t even allow the Senate to vote on some of the most important issues facing our country today, and Sen. Cornyn is his right-hand man in the extreme partisanship and gridlock. That’s why right now is the time to build a new Senate that actually works for the people, NOT the special interests or D.C. bosses.

So will you chip in right now to support Sara, Amy, Theresa, and me as we fight to build a better Senate, and a better future for our children?
