John, we do things differently here in Virginia.
2023 isn’t an “off-year,” because voters are going to decide the makeup of our state legislature in November.

Last November, I lost my Congressional seat in one of the most competitive races in the country. But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up, John.
I served in the Navy for 20 years and was appointed to the January 6th Committee. I’ve dedicated my life to preserving our democracy, and that’s why I launched Defense Dem PAC.
Extremist Governor Youngkin and his Republican allies want to further restrict abortion access and make it more difficult for people to vote.
We’re focused on winning in Virginia this year because the only way we can combat Youngkin’s anti-choice, anti-democracy agenda is by shutting him out in the state legislature.
