Dear John,

It was a busy week in Washington, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how
I am fighting for our conservative values.

The overturn of Roe v. Wade was a victory for the pro-life movement. As
Americans gather for the March for Life rallies in D.C., and Saint Paul, we
know that the fight for life didn’t end withRoe. We all watched in horror this
week as the Minnesota House passed one of the most radical abortion bills in
the nation. Clearly, our fight for life is far from over. It’s why pro-life
Americans continue to pray and work for changing hearts and minds to safeguard
the lives of unborn babies, our most vulnerable citizens.

To that end, I introduced two key pieces of pro-life legislation in the U.S.
House this week. TheDefund Planned Parenthood Act will prevent the organization
from accessing federal dollars unless they certify that they will not perform
or support abortions. I also introduced theProtecting Life and Taxpayers Act,
which will prevent a single dollar from funding abortions. It is wrong to
support abortion with taxpayer dollars, plain and simple. The American people
should not be forced to support organizations that do little to promote women’s
health.

Across Minnesota, people are experiencing postal delays and some days when
mail doesn’t arrive at all. This is more than just an inconvenience; many
Minnesotans rely on the postal service for prescription medication and other
health goods. Every American should be able to rely on the U.S. Postal Service.
That’s why I promptly joined the Minnesota Republican Delegation in a letter to
Postmaster Dejoy, demanding he take swift action to decrease the mail backlog
and prioritize hiring and retaining quality postal workers in our rural
communities.

As always, please contact my office if there is anything we can help with.
Thank you for your continued support!

With gratitude,
