Dear John,
Almost six months ago, we were robbed of a fundamental constitutional right for the first time in history. Roe was overturned by the Supreme Court. Now, as we continue to carve our path forward to abortion access for all, we find ourselves upon another historical day.
Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade’s original passage —and while this could be a painful reminder of what we’ve lost, we’re choosing to let it fuel our will to keep fighting.
Wherever you are, I hope you’ll join your community tomorrow [[link removed]] —online, at a rally, or even by simply chatting with a friend or family member about the need for abortion care without shame, stigma, or fear.

There’s no denying how devastating this ruling has been for Texans, who have already been targeted by anti-abortion policies for decades. While Roe granted a vital pathway to legal abortion, it was never enough to ensure access for so many of our communities.
Together, we can build a future that offers us more freedom over our bodies than we have ever known. Together, we can go beyond Roe.
By your side in the fight,
