The Biden administration is proposing an asylum ban that is illegal and inhumane. This new rule would require migrants to apply for asylum in transit countries before entering the U.S. That means waiting for months or more in Mexico or other transit countries — where families continue to struggle with the violence and persecution they fled in the first place.
Friend, if this asylum ban goes into effect, it will become almost impossible for children to seek safety here.
