[[link removed]]URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Corporations are DESTROYING the world’s most biodiverse
savanna! Act now!
[[link removed]]

Picture this: colorful birds sail over a tropical savanna. In the tall grass and
forests below, a jaguar stalks its prey. The Brazilian Cerrado is home to millions of unique, vibrant species. In fact, the Cerrado is a biodiversity hotspot containing 5% of ALL species on Earth. It’s also home to more than 80 Indigenous groups who depend on the land’s
resources.

But this lush habitat is being DESTROYED! Greedy industrial agriculture
corporations purchase crops and cattle from large landowners that FORCE
Indigenous people off their land and BURN wildlife habitats. Much of this destruction makes way for industrial soy production to feed
animals suffering in factory farms around the world. Under the guise of
sustainability, the World Bank is financing several of the biggest corporations
responsible for expanding this destructive system. Friend, PROTECT the Cerrado savanna: Tell the World Bank
to STOP funding destructive industrial animal agriculture by 11:59pm TONIGHT!

[[link removed]]In 2022, deforestation hit a SEVEN-YEAR HIGH in Brazil's Cerrado savanna, leaving a desolate landscape of POLLUTED RIVERS and DEPLETED SOILS in its wake. Known as the “birthplace of waters” because eight of Brazil’s 12
major river basins draw their water from the region, the destruction of the
Cerrado could become one of our planet’s worse ecological disasters.

World Bank financing of industrial animal agriculture is also bad news for the
more than 80 Indigenous communities who rely on the Cerrado for their very
survival. But the World Bank is using millions of our taxpayer dollars to help these
corporations greenwash their destructive activities. YOUR action can make all the difference. We need 46 more people from your area to sign by 11:59pm
TONIGHT: help STOP the destruction of the world’s most biodiverse savanna!
