That’s devastating news for Democrats.

Why? Because in previous legislative sessions, Gov. Kemp and his GOP allies have:

• Passed onerous voter suppression legislation that disproportionately targets voters of color.
• Approved gerrymandered maps that ensured Republicans would pick up an additional congressional seat and take control of the House of Representatives.
• Passed an extreme ban on abortion after 6 weeks — before many women even know they are pregnant!
