Hi team — you’re probably close to logging off for the weekend, so we’ll keep this short.

We’re just a few weeks into the new year and new Congress, and already Republicans are showing what they stand for — and it’s not good.

House Republicans have already pushed an anti-abortion bill through the chamber in an effort to further restrict reproductive rights.

They’re also gearing up to make cuts to Social Security and Medicare after making campaign promises that these vital programs won’t face the chopping block.

And we can’t forget to mention George Santos — who lied, cheated, and stole his way to a congressional seat and is now being placed on important committees. How can we let someone who scammed his way into office receive a top-secret security clearance and a vote on legislation that impacts every American?

Look, there’s a lot of work cut out for Pat and House Democrats. But rest assured, Pat is ready to take on these fights and hold Republicans’ feet to the fire.
