MUST READ: CNN Highlights Record Number of Republican Women in the 118th Congress

This past week, CNN published a

story highlighting how a record number of Republican women are serving in the 118th Congress thanks to the help of Chairwoman Stefanik's E-PAC and other women's organizations.

“There were many more groups this time around that did engage,” Houchin said, praising VIEW PAC, Winning for Women and Stefanik’s leadership PAC, known as Elevate PAC or E-PAC. “That made a difference.”

...

Stefanik raised the alarm with House GOP leaders after the 2018 election, when, as the first female recruitment chair of the NRCC, she had enlisted more than 100 women to run. Just one of them won.

Democrats flipped the House that year, buoyed in large part by the success of female candidates, but the number of GOP women in the chamber declined by nearly half. Even if Republican leaders didn’t immediately recognize the problem – then-NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer called Stefanik’s desire to get involved in primaries a “mistake” – they quickly came around in their public support for her mission.

“I am very proud that our efforts have been pretty much embraced across the board,” Stefanik said last month when asked if leadership now understands the importance of supporting women.

GOP Woman of the Week: Cathy McMorris Rodgers

[link removed]

Cathy McMorris Rodgers was first elected to represent Washington’s Fifth Congressional District in 2004. At the time, she was only the 200th woman ever elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Cathy also later served as the Chair of the House Republican Conference for six years, and was the first woman to have given birth three times while serving in Congress.

Cathy recently became the Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, a role where she is leading the charge on critical issues for Washington families and all Americans like rural broadband, consumer privacy, American energy independence, and holding Big Tech accountable.

Cathy is a trailblazer for GOP Women and a critical leader in the 118th Congress. Join E-PAC in supporting Cathy as we start the new Congress strong!
