We passed a slew of HISTORIC legislative accomplishments in 2022, folks.
But now it is absolutely critical we don’t begin resting on our laurels and stop pushing for progress on behalf of Michigan’s working families.
So please, if you’re committed to fighting for a better MI-11, will you chip in $23 right away to help our team address the most important issues facing our community in 2023?
Last year, House Democrats lowered costs through the Inflation Reduction Act, invested in American manufacturing with the CHIPS and Science Act, and provided crucial protections for same-sex and interracial couples by passing the Respect for Marriage Act.
But our work is far from over. So, in 2023, Congress must pass legislation to:
- Respect reproductive freedom by making the protections of Roe v. Wade the law of the land and defend access to contraception.
- Lower healthcare costs to put money back in the pockets of Michigan’s working families.
- Institute a federal paid leave program to protect American workers, bolster our economy, and strengthen the health and safety of our communities.
- Expand the Child Tax Credit to continue pulling Michigan’s children out of poverty.
- Create better-paying jobs that strengthen our middle class by continuing to make investments in U.S. manufacturing, fix our infrastructure, and support small businesses.
But we can’t accomplish ANY of these critical 2023 legislative priorities without your continued support. So please, will you chip in $23 right away to continue fighting for Michigan’s working families in Washington?
For Michigan,
Haley Stevens
