Since 2017, we have been working with our lawyers to find a way to defeat this unjust law. I finally have a huge update: on Tuesday, we filed a complaint with the U.S. Office for Civil Rights.

Dear John, ​

In 2017, while most Oregonians were spending time celebrating the Fourth of July weekend, the Democrats in the Legislature rushed through the Reproductive Health Equity Act [[link removed]] with little opportunity for public input.

This law forces insurance companies to fully fund abortion procedures without a deductible or copay. You can read our blog about the law here [[link removed]].

The very abbreviated version is that this law will continue to multiply the number of abortions Oregonians will pay for with their tax dollars.

Since 2017, we have been working with our lawyers to find a way to defeat this unjust law. I finally have a huge update: on Tuesday, we filed a complaint with the U.S. Office for Civil Rights. You can read our press release with all the nuts and bolts here [[link removed]].
