WFA PAC Endorses Justice Dan Kelly
for Wisconsin Supreme Court

Wisconsin Family Action PAC (WFA PAC), the state’s only conservative pro-family PAC, announced earlier this week that it has endorsed incumbent Justice Dan Kelly for a ten-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
 
WFA PAC director Julaine Appling, commented, “Justice Dan Kelly has everything we look for in a judge, especially for our state’s highest court. He has made it very clear and very public that his judicial philosophy is that the courts are not lawmakers; that’s the job of the legislature. The role of the judiciary, as Justice Kelly puts it, is to interpret the laws according to the clear language of state statutes and the Wisconsin Constitution and the US Constitution. Deciding a case based on a political or personal agenda is outside the purview of a justice."

PRO-LIFE EVENTS ACROSS WISCONSIN

In the upcoming weeks, churches, pro-life ministries and pregnancy resource centers around Wisconsin and throughout the country will be gathering to celebrate the sanctity of human life and mourning the loss of precious life since Roe v. Wade (Jan. 22, 1973) by holding events such as special church services, events with a pro-life message, or prayer vigils in local communities.

CLICK HERE for a list of some of the upcoming pro-life events happening in Wisconsin, alphabetical by city, where pro-life citizens are celebrating the sanctity of human life and/or mourning Roe v. Wade. The loss of life is a great tragedy in our country; and we encourage you to in some way celebrate the value of life as God ordains and  acknowledge this loss, whether it is by a time of personal reflection, prayer, or attending a pro-life event.

January Is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Month 

From FRC Action:
"For the 11th straight year, January has been declared National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Through a presidential proclamation issued on December 31, President Trump intends to raise awareness about the estimated 24.9 million adults and children who 'are trapped in a form of modern slavery around the world, including in the United States,' and to prevent the future trafficking of many more people who may be vulnerable.
...
"As President Trump declared in his official proclamation, 'Human trafficking erodes personal dignity and destroys the moral fabric of society. It is an affront to humanity that tragically reaches all parts of the world, including communities across our nation.'"

WFA president Julaine Appling talks about this issue from a Wisconsin perspective: "Wisconsin, sadly, is not exempt from human trafficking. Milwaukee is a hub for and far too many communities are affected by this heinous activity. The connection between sexually oriented businesses, prostitution and sex trafficking is very real. We have way too many of these businesses in our state. We need laws and ordinances restricting their operation."
