John,

Last month, Congress approved 14 of Dwight's projects, securing over $16 million in funding for Pennsylvania’s 3rd District.

For months, Dwight met with grassroots organizations, local leaders, community members, workers, and small businesses to determine what projects could help folks around the block.

Here are just a few of the projects coming to PA-03:

$2,000,000 for the Liberty Housing Development Corporation:

Dwight has been a leader in the fight for affordable, safe housing in our region. These investments will create more affordable community-based living arrangements for people with disabilities. By providing 31 affordable housing units, half allocated to people with disabilities, this investment will create long-term stability and support systems for our community.

$1,000,000 for the Allegheny West Foundation:

The Allegheny West Foundation works to increase the supply of affordable housing, nurture economic growth in the Allegheny West area, increase employment opportunities, encourage civic engagement, and provide work-based learning opportunities for local youth.

With these new investments, we will build a large development on a vacant site, holding a total of 50 affordable housing units for low-income seniors, a 25,000-square-foot ground-floor commercial space, and a new food distribution site, which would seek to alleviate food insecurity in Hunting Park!

$750,000 for Temple University/Philadelphia CeaseFire:

2022 was officially the deadliest year for mass shootings. And Philadelphia is all too familiar with gun violence. Dwight has made it a focus to tackle the gun violence crisis head-on and has worked tirelessly to pass legislation to curb gun violence and save lives.

This $750,000 investment will provide mental health and crisis assistance to gun violence survivors and their families. It will also help Philly CeaseFire offer prevention, intervention, and behavioral health services for individuals and families facing gun violence trauma.

Dwight fought hard for these key investments for our community and made sure community voices were heard. These three projects only account for $3.75 million of the over $16 MILLION in approved community project funding.

Dwight's building a movement powered by community-driven solutions, and it would mean the world to him to have your support for these projects. Please, sign on in support of these vital investments >> [link removed]
