Friend, I’m running to end Mitch McConnell’s decades of corruption and obstruction of our democracy—but as you well know, simply beating Mitch in 2020 isn’t enough to get us back on track. We need to get other new faces into the Senate as well—today, I want to give a shoutout to three women (and fellow moms!) I’m proud to support: Sara Gideon in Maine, Theresa Greenfield in Iowa, and MJ Hegar in Texas. Team, I couldn’t be prouder to be in this fight with Sara, Theresa, and MJ. They’re bringing such a diversity of life experiences to their races, from a family farming background (Theresa) to the daughter of an immigrant who became Maine's Speaker of the House (Sara) to combat tours in Afghanistan (MJ, a fellow veteran). Those real experiences are what give each of us the determination to fight for everyday Americans: to protect folks with pre-existing conditions, to lower prescription drug prices, and to get big money out of our politics so that people, not partisan special interests, are the true drivers in our democracy. Here’s one thing you can count on—just like in my race against Mitch, Sara, Theresa, and MJ are also up against well-funded Republican opponents with dark money who will do anything to keep real, people-powered fighters out of the Senate. Thank you,
