Slowdowns like this are not that unusual, especially coming out of a heated midterm election cycle.
But when they’ve happened in the past, we’ve been able to rely on supporters like you to help us get back on track in order to avoid scaling back critical organizing and electoral work. We’re counting on you again right now, John.

Some pundits — and even some organizations — may think of a year like 2023 as an “off-year.” For all of us at the Working Families Party, nothing could be further from the truth:

We’ve got local, municipal, and judicial elections coming up as soon as February in states across the country, and continuing through November,

We’ve got a MAGA Republican majority in the House about to kick into high gear, doing the bidding of billionaires, launching attacks on our democracy, and threatening to blow up the entire economy if they don't get their cuts to Social Security and Medicare,

We’ve got some key 2024 races that we’ve got to start preparing for as early as possible, so that more of our working families champions can have a fair shot against deep-pocketed candidates and their dark money corporate PACs — and so we can take back the House from Republicans,

And we’ve got organizers on the ground in communities nationwide communicating with voters and volunteers to make sure we keep on winning victories for working people.
Our organizing takes place year-round. And when we encounter fundraising slowdowns like the one we are going through right now, we count that much more on supporters like you stepping up to fuel our work.
