** As we March for Life today in Washington DC, we celebrate for the first time Roe’s reversal and a brighter future.

Now, everyone is asking: what's next? The New York Times ([link removed]) , National Review ([link removed]) , and The Atlantic ([link removed]) are putting their spin on the future of our movement while highlighting the significant impact of Americans United for Life.

At the center of the conversation this week in Washington are two AUL initiatives:

The American Life Initiative (ALI) ([link removed]) is AUL's roadmap for the movement post-Roe. ALl provides model legislation and pro-life policy solutions for both the federal government and individual states. This initiative is critical to our success as our focus shifts from the U.S. Supreme Court to Congress and state governments.

“Make Birth Free” ([link removed]) is another major AUL initiative, a bi-partisan proposal to make birth free to all American mothers by covering pregnancy in public and private healthcare. Federal and state governments have covered abortion and contraception for too long, and we believe it’s past time to cover pregnancy and birth. Eliminating the direct cost of birth will save lives by removing a major barrier for many who choose abortion for financial reasons. Sen. J.D. Vance and others have publicly signaled support for this bold vision.

We're excited to continue to lead the pro-life movement. We are overjoyed that this year's March for Life will be the first without the specter of Roe.

Today we mark 50 years of advocacy and marching to the steps of the Supreme Court with the goal of abolishing abortion and clarifying that abortion is unconstitutional. We know that our "march" for this cause is far from over. Together, we are honored to press on with you toward an America where all are welcomed throughout life and protected in law.
