From polling to presidential candidates’ campaign stops to last night’s debate, the coverage is 24/7.

Believe it or not, our primary in Texas isn’t too far behind.

And while everyone’s attention is focused on Iowa, the fact of the matter is that if we want to turn Texas blue up and down the ballot, it’s going to be done by campaigns like ours in the deepest blue parts of Texas. We’re investing in organizing on the ground — energizing infrequent and new voters.

Last cycle, voter turnout in TX-28 was just 11%.

If we want to elect a real Democrat in South Texas who will work to turn this state blue in November, then we need to continue investing in our ground game before our March 3 primary.
