Throughout her campaign, Katie promised that she’ll work with anyone to deliver solutions to our state’s greatest challenges.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Arizona Republican legislators.
When Katie brought up the importance of defending reproductive rights in her State of the State address, Republicans in the legislature walked out of the chamber.

Then, after Katie proposed her budget for the next year — which focuses on lowering costs, investing in public education, securing Arizona’s water future, tackling the affordable housing crisis, and more — state Republicans tweeted memes about it being “dead on arrival,” vowing to oppose her budget priorities.
Here’s the thing, John: In November, Arizonans voted for serious leadership. That’s what Katie is delivering as Governor, and she’s counting on us to have her back. Arizonans deserve better than obstructionist Republicans who would rather tweet and refuse to act than work alongside the Governor to solve the problems their constituents are facing.
