Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, team.

When those elections come under attack by foreign powers seeking to influence our government for their own purposes, we have a responsibility to stop them. Mark has fought fiercely to secure our electoral process from foreign attacks, but the fight isn't over.

If you've got a few spare minutes, will you fill out Mark's survey on election security? Here's the first question:

Do you think our elections can be free and fair if foreign powers are allowed to interfere in our electoral process?
Yes or No? >>> [link removed]

Mark has repeatedly introduced bipartisan election security legislation in the Senate but Senate GOP leadership has refused to allow a vote on Mark's bills, including the Foreign Influence Reporting in Elections (FIRE) Act. This legislation would help safeguard our elections by requiring presidential campaigns to report foreign contacts to the FBI.

Let's be clear: the kind of foreign interference that happened in 2016 will happen again. Adversaries like China, Iran, and North Korea are all following the Russian playbook, and failing to protect our elections would be ignoring one of our most basic responsibilities to the American people.

We must take firm, measured steps to secure our elections immediately. Not next year. Not next month. Now.
