On Jan. 9, a Florida state representative introduced a proposed amendment that would allow Florida voters to recall all elected county officials in the state, including supervisors of elections. These election officials could become subject to frivolous recalls for merely doing their jobs in a climate already rife with increased threats and harassment. [link removed]
Arizona Republicans introduced at least four extreme proposals to seriously curtail or fully repeal mail-in voting in the Grand Canyon State. These bills come on the heels of the state’s highest court rejecting the Arizona Republican Party’s latest attempt to undo the state’s popular mail-in voting system. [link removed]
