During the event, our CEO Mary Creasman will be talking about California’s watershed year for climate in 2022 with five of our top climate champions in Sacramento.

These five leaders, who are part of our “Climate Action Caucus,” all went above and beyond last year to advance climate action. They are Assemblymember Luz Rivas, Assemblymember Isaac Bryan, former Assemblymember Cristina Garcia, Senator Ben Allen, and Senator John Laird.

The Scorecard serves as a key educational and accountability resource for people like YOU to know how well our leaders stand on the environment and the climate crisis. Last year, we gave California a D grade for its inaction on climate in 2021.

We already know 2022 — as a landmark year for climate action in California — was a huge improvement, friend, but by how much?
