Friends -
At least 137 people under the age of 18 have been shot in the U.S. in the first 16 days of the new year.
30 of them were fatally shot.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
Especially while there is a bill sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk that could help prevent many of these shootings in the first place.
Mitch McConnell must hold a debate and a vote on gun safety laws now.
And if he doesn’t, we must use our votes to elect new leaders that will. That’s where you come in:
Senate Republicans need to wake up and decide if their gun lobby checks are worth more than the safety of our communities.
And if they refuse to take action to make our communities safer from gun violence, then we must elect a Congress who will.
Any support you can give today will help us pressure these Senators to act, or elect new ones that will.
So if you can, please consider making a donation of any amount today >>
Together,
The team at Giffords
