John,
The unrelenting rains in California in the last two weeks have caused more loss of life than wildfires in the past two years. The devastating toll on the state’s infrastructure and social safety nets remains to be seen, but we do know one thing: this doesn’t have to happen again.
If the rains in California are any indication of the severe climate-related disasters to come, we cannot stay silent as our most vulnerable communities, their homes and critical infrastructure face imminent danger.
President Biden has the authority to declare a climate emergency and act to rein in planet-warming fossil fuel pollution before it’s too late.
Tell President Biden to declare a climate emergency!

Without immediate action to transition away from fossil fuels, our planet’s future is in danger. The effects of fossil fuels will continue to wreak havoc on our communities. That’s why we need President Biden to declare a climate emergency today.

Thank you for taking action,
Dan Rowe
