George Santos is one of the new batch of Trumpist Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.

You’ve no doubt heard by now that Santos appears to have lied about practically everything we know — or *thought* we knew — about him:

He has lied about his educational background.

He has lied about working at major Wall Street firms.

He has lied about his personal finances.

He has lied about where he lived.

He has lied about his criminal background.

He has lied about his religious heritage.

He may well have broken campaign finance laws so flagrantly that he’ll actually get punished for it (a rarity anymore, sadly).

He may even have lied about his own name.

And that’s just some of what has been uncovered so far.

In essence, George Santos is not actually the person people who voted for him were told, by him, that he was.

Other Republicans — I repeat, other Republicans — have called for Santos to resign.

Last week Santos himself said he would resign if enough people sign a petition demanding he do so.

Tell Rep. George Santos:

While you are not the first — and will not be the last — member of Congress to lie to the American people, that is no excuse. Your numerous and substantive lies are disqualifying on their face. You should resign immediately.
