Believe it or not, 24 states have banned abortion or are expected to do so in 2023. Several more are planning to heavily restrict its access. North Carolina could soon be on that list.

Republicans in the State Senate now hold a veto-proof majority. That means they hold enough power to push through any piece of EXTREME anti-choice legislation that could devastate millions of people in our state. They fell one seat short of a veto-proof majority in the State House. That means if any Democrat has to miss session because they’re sick or anything else comes up, Republicans could ram through a veto override.

Roy is working hard to protect abortion access for North Carolinians and anyone who comes to our state. But he needs our help. Republican lawmakers won’t stop their assault on reproductive freedom until they strip every last bit of access to it.
