We’re obsessed with finding ways to improve our product quality and your experience. This past year we:
- Launched our first gel pack that is filled with soup (New England Clam Chowder - with more soup options on the way!), so you can enjoy a delicious meal instead of throwing them into the trash. Every package of soup displaces 1 disposable gel pack in our shipping process!
- Partnered with Dispatch Goods to pick up packaging materials, rather than letting them go to the landfill (zip-code dependent and expanding soon).
- Started wrapping our fillets in cheesecloth, which is a method used in high end restaurants across the globe and increases product quality by wicking away excess moisture.
- Upgraded our labels for our community pickups. The new labels have better adhesive, a larger font, and your name front and center which is easier to read to help you identify your fish faster which makes community pickups more efficient.

- A note about last week's black cod... I marinated it in miso for two nights, then grilled outside. Spectacular! And a thank you to all for the new process of wrapping the whole fish in cheesecloth, it was so tidy in the bag and box.
- The Dover Sole was so good today as always. We love the freshness and quality of Real Good Fish. The new labels are great. So easy now to find our fish.
- We stopped eating fish because we were worried about its impact on the oceans. We’re so glad to have found Real Good Fish, which allows us to eat seafood sustainably. It is also the most flavorful fish we have ever had the privilege of eating! And we love that each catch lists who caught it, where, and how.
