‌John,

Last week, I visited the border as part of a bipartisan group to consider how Congress can address the challenges of migration and security.

In discussions with law enforcement, community leaders, advocates, and asylum seekers, and after seeing multiple segments of the border firsthand again, I'm only more convinced of the urgent need for congressional action.

President Biden has made it clear that not only can we not continue with a system that empowers smugglers and puts migrants in danger, but we must protect those who are American in all but legal status and provide a pathway to citizenship.

I believe that only passing new laws can create a lasting solution to our immigration challenges. By protecting the American dream and keeping our country secure with compassionate and clear legislation, we can all move forward.

If you're ready to join me in support of creating lasting solutions to our immigration challenges through congressional action, add your name today >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
