Submitted abstracts should demonstrate the paper's relevancy to Austrian economics and be limited to 250 words. Papers not adhering to these criteria will be rejected without further review.

* Kenneth Garschina Graduate Student Essay Contest, Deadline January 27 ([link removed]) : $2,500 to the graduate student with the best paper in Austrian economics or libertarian political economy. Applicants should submit a CV and robust abstract of approximately 500 words, and a completed academic research paper of 8,000 words or less (not a dissertation chapter). Submissions should be from current graduate students, not former or current professors. The winner must be present to accept the award.
* America’s Great Depression: Lessons for Today, Deadline February 10 ([link removed]) : Open to graduate and undergraduate students. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes of $2,500, $1,000 and $500, respectively, will be awarded, and the prize winners will be invited to present their papers at the conference. Winners of the Kenneth Garschina and America's Great Depression prizes will have their accommodations paid for and conference registration fee waived.
