Dear Friend – checking back. I hope you can spare time to respond before closing this email. The extreme cold has been deadly and more seniors and families have entered our centers needing emergency support like warm shelter and hot meals.
Your donated dollars will go right to work, especially now – because hard times for us are so much harder on people already struggling. Thank you for being as generous as you can. ~ Tanisha
I can help >>

Friend,
How cold do you think it has to be for hypothermia to set in?
Most cases actually occur between 30 to 50 degrees and in as little as 20 minutes, before you’d better head for safety. Now imagine the threat of extreme weather for people without a home or a safe place to turn.
Thankfully, many people, including some of your neighbors, facing homelessness this winter have been getting help through VOA, and it’s thanks to generosity like yours.
Winter Cold Can Kill. You Can Help a Family in Need >>
As I write this, VOA teams are responding to local emergencies across the US. As the temperatures drop, the need for extreme weather relief is spiking. Friend: we need a few more friends for local efforts. I’m hoping you can join us in supporting this lifesaving response.
Winter donations can help meet the immediate needs of families in crisis. For example, your gift can help us provide safe shelter, hot meals, warm clothing, and emergency care.
Your help matters, Friend. It will go right to work in your community, towards emergency relief and ongoing services – much-needed this winter – and so deeply appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your kind heart, Tanisha Smith Vice President, Volunteers of America
P.S. You are someone who steps up when kindness is called for to help one another. Now, your donation will help families in your community access critical services right now and throughout the year. Thank you again.
