John:
According to Politico, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is quietly ramping up his efforts for a future presidential campaign. But there's one big problem: most people - outside of the bigots in his state - don't actually find him likeable. It turns out passing biased anti-LGBTQ laws that "protect religious freedom", the notorious "Don't Say Gay" and the "Stop Woke Act" bills, while dismantling the right to choose and boosting anti-democracy candidates, aren't popular with American voters.
That seems obvious to us, but to Ron, it's as clear as mud. So before Ron runs, we wanted to give him some advice on how to win friends and influence voters. And let us know: what would YOU tell Ron about his future campaign and his likeability problem? Don't spare his feelings! [[link removed]]

Now, we know he won't take any advice from us (the world will be a more equal place if he did, John). He'll probably do the exact opposite. But if we could, we'd tell him to stop spreading harmful myths about trans people and discipline his staff for use words like "predator" or "groomer" when talking about LGBTQ people. We'd tell him to stop vetoing funds that would support Pulse survivors and do more than say empty words to remember the loss. We'd tell him to repeal his terrible legislation that forces LGBTQ kids and teachers to feel unsafe at school. And that would just be the start!
But we still want him know exactly what we think about his time in office - and all the things he could be doing better. So chime in: what would you tell Ron DeSantis about his future campaign? Let us know here! [[link removed]]
