It's Thursday, not Monday...
Some announcements just won't wait!
But first, as always, some observations on the news of the day. President Trump's
partisan impeachment has finally been forwarded from the House to the Senate, over
bipartisan opposition. The stock market is so shaken that new record highs are being
set, over $29,000 for the DJIA, based on the high confidence that Trump will remain
president after this political farce plays out. Meanwhile, the media is reporting
that the Democrats now have the smoking gun that will force his ouster. This is
the same media that also reported:
-Russian collusion was a fact
-Trade war with Europe was unwinnable
-Trade war with Canada was unwinnable
-NAFTA was best treaty America ever signed
-Manufacturing jobs in industries such as steel will never come back to America
-Trade war with China was unwinnable
-America would never again see 3% GDP growth
-Tax cuts could not possibly create improvement in employment situation AND increase
federal revenues
-the Steele Dossier was confirmed and corroborated
-moving the American Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would start WWIII
-the Mueller Report would prove treason on the part of Trump
-killing Qassem Soleimani would start WWIII, and not an Iranian Civil War
So, the question becomes, will the media be "correct" again, or is the market correct?
The media is a virtual monopoly, and the stock market is betting real money. You
decide.
