Aloha Hawai‘i Republicans,
The Hawai‘i Republican Party is pleased to announce that this year's State Convention will be held in Hilo, Hawai‘i, on May 5th - 6th, 2023. A formal Call To Convention will be sent to all elected state delegates and alternates in the first week of March, including a tentative schedule, details on registration, costs, venue, transportation, and hotel accommodations.
The Call To Convention will also include information and all pertinent forms for those interested in running for the State Executive Committee as State Chair, Vice Chair(s), Secretary, and Treasurer. Nominations will be accepted only after the Call To Convention is made, with the process and timeline set forth therein to ensure a level playing field for all candidates.
Per HRP Rule 320, to be a delegate to the State Convention and your County Convention (held before the State Convention), you must be elected at your upcoming Precinct Election Meeting (PEM).
Please be on the lookout for notices from your county and district leaders regarding the PEM process and scheduling.
