I’ve heard from thousands of Ohioans worried about missing mail and theft -- from urgently needed medications to paychecks.
I reached out to Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy for answers. You want to know what I heard back?
Nothing.
Under DeJoy’s leadership, the Postal Service has instituted policies that slow down mail delivery and make it more susceptible to mail theft. Those issues are costing Ohioans millions in stolen checks and goods and putting the lives of mail carriers at risk.
When I ask for answers on behalf of 12 million Americans -- people who have been wronged by USPS leadership’s incompetence and neglect -- we deserve a response and we deserve changes to be made if business as usual is no longer working.
