Hey John, 

If you’re like us, you probably saw a lot of Republicans quoting Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, committing themselves to his vision of equality for all.

These are the same Republicans, BTW, who turned around and kept fighting to pass discriminatory voter suppression laws, undermine organized labor, and are banning lessons about race and the civil rights movement in our children’s schools. 

They are hypocrites, plain and simple. And we need to vote them out. 

But those discriminatory voting laws that Republican-controlled state legislatures are passing all over the country are making it harder and harder to do that — so we need to work even harder to get folks to the polls this time around.
