John, fresh off of leading the national embarrassment that was Kevin McCarthy’s first 14 failures to be elected House Speaker, far-right election denier Lauren Boebert went on Fox News to attack me.
“They’re a bunch of Blue Anons, conspiracy theorists that have these witch hunts and hoaxes that they chase after.” —Lauren Boebert to Fox News host Dan Bongino
Isn’t that rich? Lauren Boebert, the QAnon supporter who voted to overturn the 2020 election for Trump just 3 days after being sworn into Congress, thinks I’m a conspiracy theorist — and is vowing they will remove me from the Intel Committee for this false charge.
John, I’ll never stop working to defend our democracy from extremists like Boebert who view their role in Congress as a kind of vile performance art, but I can’t do it without your support. Will you pitch in $10 to help my campaign respond to Boebert and Fox News’ latest attacks?
As Donald Trump’s presidential campaign kicks into full gear, his MAGA cronies in the House Majority like Lauren Boebert pose a grave danger to our country. Republicans nearly prevented the certification of the 2020 election from the minority. I fear now that with McCarthy fully dependent on Boebert and others like her for support, the GOP could once again stand in the way of a free and fair election if the result doesn’t go their way.
John, this is much bigger than just the committees I serve on. The House GOP under Speaker McCarthy have the ability now, with their majority, to undermine anyone who attempts to hold any MAGA Republican accountable. There will be no checks on Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, or any other far-right conspiracy theorist in Congress, or their endless fabrications, outrages, and attacks on our democracy if we don’t push back.
No matter how unbelievable or ridiculous these attacks may seem, we can’t give House Republicans a free pass to spread misinformation. As Trump’s Big Lie has shown, if they repeat the lies often enough, their base of MAGA supporters will come to accept them as truth.
So I am asking you personally: Will you contribute $10 to my campaign today to help us respond to Lauren Boebert’s attacks and the many more that are sure to come in the next two years?

One of the most dangerous things to our future is having elected officials like Lauren Boebert who will say anything — and do anything — to get media attention and further their own political self-interest.
There’s no doubt we will see more divisive rhetoric like this coming from the GOP. So I’m counting on the support of this grassroots team to help put a stop to it.
Thank you for your constant support,
— Adam
