The state has experienced a conveyor belt of record-setting storms in recent weeks. Lives have been tragically lost. Landslides were unleashed. Roads were swamped and trees toppled. Climate change will make extreme weather events more and more common in every corner of the country.
We need urgent action on climate change – but Big Oil’s torrent of dark money is blocking the path to bipartisanship.

Climate change is here. It’s not some distant problem we can worry about later – it’s happening now and it’s rapidly getting worse. But the deep-pocketed fossil fuel industry is meddling nonstop in our politics to prevent Republicans from stepping out of line to help save the planet.
