Friends: we’ve got incredible news.
Not one, not two, but THREE of Lori’s bills were signed into law by President Biden at the end of last year!
*
The
Medication
Access
and
Training
Expansion
Act
will
ensure
that
every
physician
with
the
ability
to
prescribe
highly
addictive
medications
has
the
training
they
need
to
spot,
treat,
and
prevent
addiction
so
no
one
fighting
this
disease
is
told
their
doctor
can’t
help.
*
The
Garrett
Lee
Smith
Memorial
Reauthorization
Act
will
ensure
the
continuation
and
strengthening
of
community-based
youth
and
young
adult
suicide
prevention
efforts
that
were
set
to
expire
at
the
end
of
last
year.
*
And
the
Bolstering
Infectious
Outbreaks
Preparedness
Workforce
Act
will
strengthen
our
nation’s
bio-preparedness
and
infectious
disease
workforce
which
proved
critical
during
the
COVID-19
pandemic.
Thanks to Lori’s tireless work to get these laws passed through the Congress, we are finally taking steps to address the mental health and addiction crises affecting millions of Americans, as well as helping ensure our nation will be prepared for the next public health crisis.
You helped send Lori back to Washington last November. Now, we’re gearing up to make sure we keep her there in 2024 so she can continue delivering wins like these for our district. Can you donate $5, $10, or whatever you can today to help kick start her re-election campaign? [[link removed]]
