I wanted to share the official news with you personally:

I’m running for reelection to continue fighting for you and your family in the U.S. Senate. In a minute, I’m going to ask you to become a Founding Donor to my reelection campaign. But first, please let me explain why your support today is so important. >> [link removed]

The truth is that the road to keeping this seat blue isn’t going to be easy. During the 2022 midterms here in New York, Republicans won more races across the state than they have in two decades -- enough to deliver the House majority back to the GOP. Now, they’re using that momentum to target this seat as a pickup opportunity in 2024 so that they can retake the Senate, too.

But I’ve never backed down from a challenge. My very first race for Congress was in a Republican district where people said that there were “more cows than Democrats.” I still ran, and we won. That’s because I had grassroots supporters like you by my side from the very beginning, making the early investments that are key to building a winning campaign.

So that’s what I’m asking of you today. With so much at stake, I’m counting on you to step up and become a Founding Donor today to help make sure I have the resources it will take to defend New York’s Senate seat and our Democratic majority.

Please, will you split $15 between my campaign and iVote to become a Founding Donor to my reelection campaign to defeat the GOP in New York and defend the Senate for Democrats? >> [link removed]

I’ve taken on some tough fights in the Senate: Securing health care for the 9/11 first responders. Repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Making sure Americans got paid family and medical leave during the pandemic.

But there are so many critical fights ahead -- for voting rights, for reproductive freedom, for health care, for a permanent paid leave program. And I won’t let up until the fights are won. I promise you that.

The GOP wants nothing more than to defeat me and halt progress on these critical issues, so I’m counting on your help to make sure we can take them head on and win. Please, will you split $15 between my campaign and iVote to defend our Democratic Senate majority and make sure that I can keep fighting for you in the Senate? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
