Huh? I missed Greta at the protests to keep the nuke plants open. She must secretly like coal mining after all.

Reuters (1/17/23) reports: "Climate campaigner Greta Thunberg was detained alongside other activists on Tuesday during protests against the demolition of a village to make way for a coal mine expansion but was released after an identity check, according to police. Thunberg was held while protesting at the opencast coal mine of Garzweiler 2, some 9 km (5.6 miles) from the village of Luetzerath, after police warned that the group would be removed by force if they did not move away from the edge of the mine. Activists have said Germany should not be mining any more lignite, or brown coal, and should focus on expanding renewable energy instead."

It could be they just had better camera crews or more "agreeable" police at this protest...

"So how do we get there? The lesson I've learned in last years, and I've learned it as secretary and leaned it since reinforced in spades, is money. money, money, money, money, money, money."

Do you think Al Gore knows that the private jet he flew to Davos on uses jet fuel?

Of course, Special K knows better than you! Just ask him.

Larry Fink tries to destroy people’s livelihoods, drive up and the cost of energy and then is concerned that people personally blame him for trying to destroy people’s livelihoods and drive up the price of energy.

Bloomberg (1/17/23) reports: "BlackRock Inc. Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink said the narrative around ESG investing has become ugly and is creating 'huge polarization.' 'I’m taking this very seriously,' Fink said in an interview with Bloomberg TV at the World Economic Forum in Davos. 'We are trying to address the misconceptions. It’s hard because it’s not business any more, they’re doing it in a personal way. And for the first time in my professional career, attacks are now personal. They’re trying to demonize the issues.' Fink, 70, has been outspoken about investing with environmental, social and governance goals, making it a focal point in his annual letters to the industry. The firm has become a political punching bag from forces on both ends of the spectrum, with some on the right alleging its policies harm the fossil-fuel industry and others on the left arguing it’s not doing enough to respond to climate change. Elon Musk tweeted earlier that the S in ESG stands for 'Satanic.' The Twitter CEO was replying to a post about the World Economic Forum by Michael Shellenberger, who ran in the primary race to be California’s governor last year."
