Hi there, John,
The impact is unreal.
That’s why we’re bringing our grassroots letter-writing campaign, Write for Rights, online — so you can easily take online action to help 10 cases of young people — with just one click.
Our goal is to get 10,000 people — passionate supporters like you — to take action before the end of this month. We’re nearly halfway there!!
It’s simple: The more actions we generate, the more likely we are to positively impact the lives of these young people who need our help. Please add your name for young people under threat. It only takes 1 minute.
This story is proof of the tremendous impact of Write for Rights:
Phyoe Phyoe Aung is a human rights defender and the Secretary General of one of Myanmar’s largest student unions. In March 2015, she and 50 other students were arrested by police for their peaceful demonstrations against a law they believed would limit their freedom of education. Phyoe Phyoe Aung faced up to nine years of imprisonment. Thanks in part to our tireless advocacy work, she was freed on April 8, 2016.
“Thank you very much each and every one of you. Not just for campaigning for my release, and the release of other prisoners, but for helping to keep our hope and our beliefs alive.” - Phyoe Phyoe Aung, Write for Rights 2015
By taking this meaningful action today, you’ll help keep hopes alive. You’ll fight for what’s right. And you’ll add your name in support of 10 cases of inspiring young people whose human rights are under attack.
Thank you for everything you do!
